● RBV is seeking an expert audit firm to provide external audits services and conducting the annual audit and issue audit reports on the financial statements of the Bank.
● Contract outsourced position open to All Applicants
● Based in Port Vila
The Organisation
The Reserve Bank of Vanuatu (RBV) endeavors to:
Regulate the issue, supply, availability and international exchange of money.
Supervise and regulate banking business and the extension of credit.
Advise the Government on banking and monetary matters.
Promote monetary stability.
Promote a sound financial structure.
Foster financial conditions conducive to the orderly and balanced economic development of Vanuatu, and to regulate and supervise domestic and international (offshore) banks.
The Tender
The Reserve Bank of Vanuatu (the Bank) invites reputable, qualified, and experienced firms to submit proposals to provide external audit services to the Bank for a period of five years starting from 2026 financial year (ending 31 December 2026). RBV seeks an expert audit firm to conduct the annual audit and issue audit reports on the financial statements of the Bank.
Essential Selection Criteria
► Communicate and effectively coordinate the audit work with the various Bank’s departments so that efficiency may be enhanced.
► Remain current on the control environment surrounding financial significant systems so as to assess control risk.
► Utilize computer technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit procedures particularly in the audit of currencies and securities.

External Audit Tender Requirements
The interested firms should prepare their proposals based on the work required for this engagement and identified in the Content of External Audit Tender Requirements and Statement of Work for Audit Services that would be forwarded to each interested firms upon request. The Content of External Audit Tender Requirements and Statement of Work for Audit Services provides the information and instruction to assist interested firms in preparing a proposal that will be acceptable to the Bank.
