The Organisation

The Vanuatu Skills Partnership is a collaboration between the Governments of Vanuatu and Australia to support sustainable economic growth, in line with the People’s Plan 2030, through training services and business development within a national quality skills system. The Head Office is located in Port Vila and Skills Centres have been established under the Ministry of Education and Training in SANMA, MALAMPA, TORBA and TAFEA provinces.

The Position

This senior position will oversee implementation of the Partnership’s Skills for Agriculture and Skills for Health workstreams nation-wide. We are seeking individuals with strong project and people management skills in any sector, with a desire to drive positive change.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Proven management skills, particular in the context of managing complex projects.

► Strong networks and professional relationships in Vanuatu and excellent inter-personal skills.

► Experience in the preparation of technical and budgetary reports for government /donors/ boards with sound budget management skills.

► Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate sensitively complex relational and or/cultural contexts.

► Excellent people-management skills.

► Demonstrated commitment to gender equality and disability inclusion.
