The Organisation

World Car Rentals Vanuatu is a locally owned and operated vehicle rental business that aims to offer the best service and rates on the island, offering 24-hour pickup and delivery at any location and 24 hour roadside assistance.

The Position

We are looking for a high-achieving Manager, with the skills and personal qualities to build an effective and happy customer service team, develop our operating procedures, maintain our fleet integrity and manage day to day logistics efficiently even when the pressure is on.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Staff management and development skills experience.

► Strong customer service and diplomacy experience.

► Planning and managing work and workflow, logistics. The ability to plan ahead, multitask and problem solve whilst running day to day operations.

► Developing and improving system procedures.

► Sound time management skills. Ability to deliver results within agreed upon reporting timeframes.

► Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders

► Outgoing personality with a positive attitude and enthusiastic outlook

► Strong communicator that demonstrates initiative.

► Confident in dealing with employees and customers. Firm, fair and diplomatic.

► Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

► Driving, clean record driving license.

Desirable Selection Criteria

► Fluent in Bislama and English and/or French

► Experience with an online reservations system and Microsoft applications

► Knowledge of motor mechanics.
