The Organisation
The Intellectual Property Office is responsible for administering and registering all Intellectual Property laws in Vanuatu including, Trademarks, Designs, Patents, Copyright and those who are engaged in providing goods and services in Vanuatu, as well as advice the Vanuatu Government on any policy issues concerning intellectual Property.

The Position
The Registrar will be responsible to ensure the existence of a robust legal, policy and planning and organizational framework within the Vanuatu Intellectual Property Office.
Essential Selection Criteria
► University Degree (Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Management & Administration)
► Preferable field of study in Law, Public Administration, specialized training in intellectual property
► Three years' experience in a similar or related position.
► Computer Literate with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
► Analytical thinker, Initiative, Problem solving skills
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Teamwork, Planning and Organizing skills, Communication skills and management skills
► Loyalty, reliability and honesty
► Be an open-minded person
► English or French and Bislama
