The Organisation
The Australian High Commission in Port Vila manages the Australian Government’s presence in Vanuatu. We promote Australia’s interests, facilitate international trade and investment, deliver development assistance, respond to crises and provide services to Australian citizens. The Positions
- Program Manager Development Coordination (various roles)
- Program Manager Economic (various roles)
As a Program Manager, you will be part of a team that delivers on a range of Australia’s bilateral and development programs in Vanuatu. You will have responsibilities managing program implementation, supporting strategic, policy and program advice and representation at a range of external meetings and events. Program Managers also support financial management and reporting (financial, fraud, performance and quality). Our programs work across various sectors, including Health, Education, Law & Justice, Gender, Humanitarian, Labor Mobility and Economic. Program Managers will work within teams to prepare high-quality written briefs, analysis and other written products to support the Mission’s work.
Essential Selection Criteria - Program Manager Development Cooperation (various roles)
► Tertiary qualifications
► Technical expertise and/or experience in public policy, development or related sectors
► Excellent written and communication skills
► Must have a pre-existing legal right to work in Vanuatu
