The Organisation
Air Vanuatu was formed 34 years ago in December 1987 and since then the airline has served Vanuatu proudly, bringing visitors and residents to and from the beautiful islands of Vanuatu.
Air Vanuatu is the National carrier of the Republic of Vanuatu and plays a pivotal role in supporting national development, particularly tourism and will continue to do so in the future.
The Position
The Marketing Manager is accountable to the Chief Commercial Officer and will be responsible to lead and deliver on all marketing functions of the airline.
They will be responsible to effectively and efficiently carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
- Strategic planning
- Brand management
- Campaign management and PR
- Relationship management of key stakeholders
- Staff management and leadership
- Reporting and;
- Budget management
Essential Selection Criteria
► Minimum 8 years work experience in similar role with a large company and proven experience in a marketing role.
► Experience managing marketing agencies and service providers.
► Build and foster existing relationships in Vanuatu with key tourism stakeholders.
► Professional approach to work and good business ethics.
► Desire to work collaboratively with others and invest in building fruitful business relationships.
► Willingness to travel for work if required
► Excellent written and verbal communications skills
► Financial management experience for multi-million budgets
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Degree or similar qualification in marketing, strategic management or business.
► Fluent in English, Bislama and French.
► Able to manage multiple priorities and maintain calm and professional approach.
► Experience managing a corporate brand.
