The Organisation
The Vanuatu Netball Association oversees the development and management of netball in Vanuatu. It manages the provincial member Associations to ensure the development of managers, coaches in players across Vanuatu.
The Position
The purpose of this role is to provide support the development and administration of the Pacific Sporting Partnership (PSP) in Vanuatu. The role will have a mix of administration and development responsibilities, both of which will evolve as the programme expands. The role reports to President of Vanuatu Netball and has responsibilities with the Programme Manager for PSP at Netball New Zealand.
Essential Selection Criteria
► 2+ years professional experience in sport development roles with a thorough understanding of netball, including the challenges and desires of all participants
► Intermediate level skills with the full Microsoft Office Suite and other affiliated/similar software packages
► Sound knowledge of best practice administration processes and strong system skills
► Strong relationship management and customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders by sharing relevant information and identifying and dealing with issues effectively
► Vanuatu citizenship
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Coaching or Coach development experience an advantage
► Very good written and oral communication skills, clear, concise, effective and persuasive
► Able to work outside standard working hours including evenings and weekends
