The Position
The Assistant Account reports directly to the Finance Manager. They provide a high standard of professional support to the Finance Team including accounts payable, accrual, payroll and reconciliations, as well as assisting with routine reporting, auditing and other accounting functions.
Essential Selection Criteria
► At least 2 or more years’ experience in Financial Services Industry with experience in management of computerized financial accounting systems
► Strong customer focus and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
► Vanuatu citizenship or residency
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Degree with a major in accounting from a recognized tertiary institution
► Preferably studying towards CA or equivalent qualification
► Excellent technical skills in Risk Management
► Proficient numeracy/financial technical skills
