The Organisation

The National University of Vanuatu (NUV) was established in January 2020. Its main campus is located in Port Vila and its purpose is to provide higher education advancement and lifelong learning through academic and professional excellence by way of training, teaching and learning in both the English and French official languages, research and international co-operation.

The Position

The Senior Lecturer/Lecturer is expected to develop courses, teach and undertake research on environment subjects.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Ph.D. or Master's in Science or a field related to climate and disaster contexts in the Pacific Islands

► Certificate in Higher Education Teaching & Learning

► evidence of having both developed and delivered university-level courses

► meet Vanuatu immigration requirements and commitment to live and work in Port Vila on a full-time basis
