The Position
The Consultant’s primary responsibility is to design and conduct the Vanuatu Seif Skuls Project baseline study in alignment with the project design, results framework, and MEAL plan. The Consultant is also expected to use a variety of methods and develop appropriate tools for the data collection, and then prepare two reporting products for presentation to Save the Children and the Vanuatu Ministry of Education and Training (MoET).
This is a fixed number of days contract: 40-50 days. Expressions of Interest are invited.
Essential Selection Criteria
► Strong knowledge and understanding of research, project management, M&E, education sector administration and school management, or other related fields
► Demonstrated experience in developing a plan to conduct research, including methodology, tools, and timelines
► Excellent research and report writing skills in English required plus Bislama fluency
► Demonstrated ability to deliver project outputs on time
► Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate teams of local enumerators in data collection
► Familiarity of Vanuatu government structures and systems, particularly of the MoET required
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Familiarity of the Comprehensive Safe Schools Framework is an advantage
