The Position

Risk and Compliance (R&C) Lead for Save the Children Vanuatu Country Office (CO) is part of the CO Senior Management Team (SMT). Risk and Compliance Lead directly reports to the Country Director. The role will work closely with R&C Focal Points in Pacific Country Offices, as well as to lead the R&C Community of Practice. R&C L will also work with business partners in MO. R&C will provide advisory, support and have oversight on R&C Focal Points in Field Offices.


Essential Selection Criteria

► Bachelor’s in Management, Business, Commerce (or a relevant field) OR a CPA

► At least 5 years of managerial experience in a reputed audit firm, or on a similar role

► Should be competent to manage large sets of data and various platforms / applications

► Excellent excel & presentation skills

► Should maintain a great balance between details and big picture / see emerging trends through data


Desirable Selection Criteria

► Ability to remain focused and maintain exacting standards of performance, despite intense pressure of work

► Proactive and be able to work with minimal supervision / complete tasks independently

► Experience in training and mentoring staff

► Ability to lead change
