Period of Contract: One (1) Year

Location: Shefa, Tafea, Penama, Sanma, Malampa & Torba (x 6)

Grade: PS 4.1 - Annual Salary: 1,195,500 VT


The Position

The Office of the Directorate of Public Health – Provincial Public Health under the Ministry of Health wishes to recruit experience and qualify candidates to the following positions on a Contract basis. We strongly encourage only those who meet the criteria to apply.


Selection Criteria

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Public Health, Information Systems or Social Science

  • Demonstrated experience in public health, database management and information systems

Expertise Area

  • Public Health / Information Systems / Social Science / Community Development Skills

Experience

  • At least 2 or more years’ experience in public health, database system and social science

  • Extensive and relevant experience in community health, community development work program is important

  • Experienced in data management, research, emergencies, disasters and business planning and human resource management

Technical Competencies

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Excellent skills in biostatistics calculation for data analysis and interpretation

  • Management skills

  • Planning/Organizing skills/logistics planning

  • Budget and imprest tracking and acquittals circumstances.

  • Good writing and verbal communication skills

  • Fast turnaround in communications
