The Position
A Provincial VCCRP Coordinator to be located at each of Vanuatu’s 6 provincial centers (Torba, Sanma, Penama, Malampa, Shefa and Tafea). This role will coordinate and implement VCCRP activities and will support project planning on the community, Area Council, and provincial levels while reporting to the Department of Local Authorities on the progress on the VCCRP. The Provincial VCCRP Coordinators will report to Decentralisation Technical Lead at the DLA as well as the provincial Secretary Generals of the provinces.
Essential Selection Criteria
► Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary certification / education highly preferable
► At least 2 years’ experience implementing projects with provincial government councils & Area Councils, either with government or NGO partners
► Must be based and work full-time at provincial government centre.
► Strong communications and presentation skills. Computer literate, strong reporting skills.
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Knowledge of the VCCRP Project
► Experience in working within a Government Project
