The Position

The Program Coordinator, Santo is responsible for the coordination and implementation of Save the Children Vanuatu’s programs delivered from the Sanma and Penama offices including both development and humanitarian programs. The Program Coordinator in collaboration with the Field Manager, Program Managers and the MEAL Coordinator, ensures that program activities are implemented in line with project implementation and MEAL plans. The position is a full time role reporting to the Field Manager, Santo.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Bachelor’s degree in community or international development or other relevant discipline and / or 5 years relevant work experience

► Sound understanding of community-based programming in the Vanuatu context

► Experience managing teams

► Demonstrated program management skills, including understanding of budgets

► Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Desirable Selection Criteria

► Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
