The Position

As a Manager, Personal Banking, you will lead the banking teams of Senior Banking Consultants and Personal Bankers with a strong focus on identifying customer need and the right solution. You will supervise, develop, monitor and plan the team activities. Your role is also to deliver to the objectives and actions within the Country and Retail Business plans and to continuously ensure staff adhere to all internal policies, standards, guidelines, procedures and regulatory requirement.


Essential Selection Criteria

► Sound understanding of the Retail banking industry, consumer products and ANZ’s business

► Proven leadership experience in managing a team and with background in home and consumer lending

► Focused on customer satisfaction and is result oriented with strong display of perseverance

► Demonstrates leadership qualities of clarity, curiosity, development of staff, empathy and empowerment of others

► High level relationship building and networking skills and has the ability to coach and develop others

► Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills

► Demonstrates concern for quality and standards


Desirable Selection Criteria

► Strong customer service skills and experience desirable

► Proven success in a sales background desirable
