The Organisation

The Position

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the effective coordination of the Human Resources function of Save the Children’s support services department in Vanuatu. S/He in will support the Support Services Director to assist in managing the human sources of Save the Children to optimize the implementation of programs in Vanuatu and ensuring employee satisfaction.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, or equivalent

► Over 5 resources experience working in mid-level HR or administration roles with a full understanding of HR functions and best practises

► Solid background in payroll practises

► Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to maintain a positive demeanour through all situations while having constant interaction with staff

► Communication skills, must be a good listener and able to communicate needs and expectations of both organisation and employees

► Highly proficient in the use of computerised accounts packages, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
