The Organisation

The National University of Vanuatu (NUV) was established in January 2020. Its main campus is located in Port Vila and its purpose is to provide higher education advancement and lifelong learning through academic and professional excellence by way of training, teaching and learning in both the English and French official languages, research and international co-operation.

The Position

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the academic, research, and management position of the Head of School of Science.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Ph.D in a field related and relevant to science and education in the Pacific Islands

► Certificate in Higher Education Teaching & Learning

► evidence of successful experience in academic administration

► evidence of having both developed and delivered university-level courses

► Excellent verbal and written communication skills
