The Organisation
The Vanuatu Skills Partnership is a collaboration between the Governments of Vanuatu and Australia to support sustainable economic growth, in line with the People’s Plan 2030, through training services and business development within a national quality skills system. The Head Office is located in Port Vila and Skills Centres have been established under the Ministry of Education and Training in SANMA, MALAMPA, TORBA and TAFEA provinces.
The Position
The BBO will also support the Inclusion Manager to develop a contextually appropriate approach to address family violence through the activities and influence of the Partnership. The role will involve playing a lead role in ensuring the Partnership’s Quality Systems enable effective collection, analysis and reporting of relevant gender equality/better balance data.
Essential Selection Criteria
► University graduate.
► 3 years experience.
► Demonstrated personal commitment to gender equality.
► Demonstrated experience in addressing inequality and contributing to a better balance in men and women’s participation and leadership.
► Strong relationships and networks across different organisations and sectors in Vanuatu.
► Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
► Excellent organisational, coordination and time-management skills.
► Ability to contribute to a positive team-based environment in a challenging workplace, with a demonstrated track record of professional conduct.
