The Organisation

The Position

Expressions of Interest are sought to provide expert support to the Save the Children Vanuatu’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator and Program Managers to; collate and analyse data, and preparing monitoring and final reports for up to 10 funding streams contributing to the Save the Children TC Harold response activities, COVID-19 pivot activities and general development programs – First 1000 Days and Disaster Ready.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Experience leading and coordinating Monitoring and Evaluation activities in Vanuatu

► Experience in respectfully working with a Vanuatu team to successfully meet tight deadlines in an environment with many competing priorities

► Experience in analysing numerical data to report on frequencies and trends

► Experience in using software such as Excel for data analysis

► Evaluation design skills, including knowledge of sampling techniques and evaluation tools

Desirable Selection Criteria

► Familiarity with the evaluation processes and expectations of major Australian donors such as DFAT, MFAT and UN agencies
