The responsibilities will be to work in close collaboration with the Save the Children Australia IT Team in Melbourne to support the design, planning and implementation of the Pacific IT Improvements project. As well as supporting this important project, the daily activities will also include:
-Efficient troubleshooting IT issues as they arise and providing resolution support.
-Supporting the supply chains team to effectively manage IT inventory.
-Managing the Windows-based network functionality
-Effectively managing IT equipment, networking and internet access challenges.
Essential Selection Criteria
► Relevant tertiary qualifications
► Demonstrated experience working in an IT environment and in a similar role.
► Working experience in networking, PC configuration and software / hardware set-up, installation and updates.
► Knowledge and experience in repairing and maintaining IT equipment.
► Strong customer service skills with a solution focus and experience in training staff and coaching end-users.
