The Organisation

The Veterinary clinic provides Veterinary services to clients for their domestic and farm animals. This involves vet consultations, surgery and the sale of products.

The Position

The veterinary nurse/ receptionist will be required to assist the veterinarian in surgery, offer advice to clients for basic animal care, hold dogs and cats during treatments, issue invoices and receive payments for invoices. He/she will also be required to clean cages and floors as necessary.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Honest reliable with no criminal record

► Good spoken and written English

► Basic computer skills

► Willing to work with animals and not afraid of animals

► Minimum grade 12 education

Desirable Selection Criteria

► Speaks French

► Good computer skills- microsoft word, microsoft excel, emailing

► Some medical experience
