The Organisation
Law Partners are Vanuatu's longest established internationally connected firm of chartered accountants, auditors and business advisors and provide a full range of accounting, audit and business services to local and international clients.
The Position
The Senior Accountant-Auditor-Finance Manager will manage the Firm’s own finances, accounting and Practise Management system, as well as provide high quality accounting, and some audit services, to a base of clients. They may also assist in developing quotes and tenders for new work and clients. As a Senior member of the firm they will also lead by example and oversee the work and training of assigned staff.
Essential Selection Criteria
► Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Finance, Commerce, Accounting or relevant field
► Proven several years’ experience working in the accounting (preparation of full financial statements) and / or audit field.
► Demonstrated use of MYOB accounting software
► Competent user of Word, Outlook other Office applications
► Excellent written communication in English
Desirable Selection Criteria
► CPA qualified or studying towards CPA
► Training and oversight of the work of others
